Celebrities, Dignitaries, and Southern California Motorcycle Clubs Coming Out to the 1st Annual Cancer and Health Awareness Community Festival

10/7/2011- Watts Labor Community Action Committee (WLCAC) partners with Charlie’s Angels Motorcycle Club (CAMC) for the 1st Annual Cancer and Health Awareness Community Festival. The ‘Festival’ will be held, Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the corporate offices of WLCAC located at 10950 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles, Ca. 90059.

The ‘Festival’ will be held on the 7 acre site of WLCAC and will include Health Care Trailers a kid zone, vendor areas, workshops, and entertainment. Many of Southern California’s African American Bike Clubs will be out to support the event and showcase their custom Harley’s. The goal is to reach those individuals that for various reasons would not normally receive health care services, and allow them to not only get tested but receive important information about living healthy lives.

3:30-4:30 Cedric Bello – Strength Trainer and contestant on TVOne’s reality series Ultimate Merger

Celebrity guest will meet and greet attendee’s, sign autographs, take pictures, and distribute books donated by Lullalee’s Literacy for Children, and author Ebony Humphrey.

The goal is to ensure the festival is accessible, fun, and effective! Let this be the beginning of recognizing the benefits of a healthier community.
