National Recording Gospel Artist Myron Williams Returns for
Soup for the Soul: Annual Homeless Feeding Event
Dallas, Tx – Platinum Producer and Stellar Award Artist Myron Williams will return to the Austin Street Shelter in Dallas for the fourth year to deliver the sweet sounds of Christmas at the Annual homeless feeding and holiday celebration. Flow Records, Two Wins Foundation, Buttons Restaurant and African-American young professional volunteers will team up to feed more than 400 homeless adults and children at 6 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Austin Street Shelter, 2929 Hickory Street in Dallas.
“Although Flow Records is a label who gives back year round across DFW, this event is very special to me because of the number of homeless children we touch each year,“ said Williams. “I’m always amazed at the number of children who live in shelters like Austin Street with their parent or guardian,” he said.
Dallas ISD says that its current homeless student population exceeds Three thousand, and about seventy-one percent (70.9%) of all homeless students are in elementary schools.
Flow Records is based in Dallas and is best known for its production of Gospel Music. Myron Williams is the producer and songwriter for Platinum Recording Artist Juanita Bynum’s blockbuster LP “A Piece of My Passion.
