LOS ANGELES, CA – The National Association of Black Female Executives in Music & Entertainment, Inc. (NABFEME®) has a new logo, new website, and is preparing to launch an exciting new mobile app.  Known for its dedication to the support and empowerment of women of color in entertainment, the organization continues to celebrate the accomplishments of women, while providing a valuable networking resource to connect women across the country and internationally.  The new logo is a vibrant reflection of the deep rooted history of NABFEME® and its commitment to reaching a new generation of creative women and introducing them to an alliance that fills a much needed void in an industry that does little to recognize the amazing accomplishments and groundbreaking work being done by women; in particular those of color.

Created over 15 years ago by founder Johnnie Walker, the organization was created as a support and empowerment resource for professional women of color in music and entertainment. Based in New York, the focus of the organization was economic and career development for its members, this continues to be the core of NABFEME® to this day.

The new look also includes expanding on the NABFEME® brand.  Monthly updates will inform members of who’s making moves, developing new projects, and will include a feature story of a NABFEME® member so we can uplift each other while celebrating and giving accolades to the women who continue to make the organization strong and relevant.

NABFEME® members are encouraged to Network, Network, Network! Utilizing the resources available to each member will build strong alliances while making way for opportunities to expand our reach not only to include members here in the states but forge bonds and share ideas with NABFEME® branches in countries such as Canada and Africa.

Members can look forward to an exciting new app launching this summer, informative seminars and panels, and exclusive events in cities across the nation.  It’s time to reignite this phenomenal organization and come together, uplift and support Black Female Executives in Music & Entertainment.
