LOS ANGELES, CA – Former Death Row Records co-founder, Lydia Harris is back with a new entertainment company, Lydia Harris Entertainment (LHE).  The entertainment company launched this week with the signing of the talented Australian pop EDM artist, Destiny Rydas.

Lydia Harris is known in the music industry as a trailblazer.  She is the former head of Death Row Records, at a time when women were relegated to the roles of secretary or assistant.   Her vision and tenacity broke down gender role barriers at the label, as she proved herself a worthy advisory in the male dominated rap music industry.  It was Lydia’s eye for talent that moved her, and ex-husband Michael “Harry O” Harris to invest in the label before it became the powerhouse indie label that introduced the world to Snoop Dogg, Lady of Rage, the DOC, Nate Dogg, and some of Tupac’s most celebrated music.

“I’ve always silently known I would come back to music; it was just a matter of time.  When I heard Destiny Rydas, there was no doubt I wanted to work with her, so I signed her to LHE.  She’s the full package; talent, looks and drive,” said Harris.  “I’ve brought back music vet, Kevin Black to run Radio Promotion, and I’m building a team of heavy hitters to create a one-stop-shop entertainment empire that will pump out music, tv & film projects, and urban literature.”

Destiny Rydas is an international pop EDM artist from Australia. After touring and building a strong fanbase in Australia, she moved to the United States in 2016. Since relocating to the states, she’s shared the stage with chart topping artists such as Rick Ross, LUDACRIS, and Bone Thugs n Harmony.  Her first mix tape “Law of Attraction ” by DJ Trans went street platinum with over 280,000 streams, and she’s been featured on tracks with Krayzie Bone and Maino.

LHE is planning a summer promo tour for Destiny Rydas to support her first release on LHE, “Right Here,” featuring French Montana.  The single is a radio friendly, summer banger with driving beats and a catchy hook.  In addition, she is working on “Stronger,” a passion project which is a suicide prevention initiative to bring awareness to mental illness, and Suicide.
