Dr. Dove, Chairman of CORE-CA Kingdom Day Parade and Volunteers Available for Interviews and Photo Opps, Sunday 01/16
Media outlets are invited to the offices of Congress of Racial Equality of California (CORE-CA) Kingdom Day Parade in Leimert Village, for interviews with Dr. Dove, Chairman of CORE-CA Kingdom Day Parade and photo opportunities with volunteers.
Volunteers will be preparing for a FREE in-car COVID-19 rapid-testing event being held, on MLK Day, January 17, 2022, in lieu of the annual parade, which has been canceled for a second straight year due to the pandemic. Hundreds of people will be tested in their cars and receive results in 5 minutes.
Cars will line up on West 43rd Street off Degnan Boulevard. Testing will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Staging area will be at 4329 South Degnan Blvd.
