Measure of Hearts Foundation
LOS ANGELES, CA – The small but mighty, Los Angles based non-profit, Measure of Hearts Foundation will serve 500 meals on Skid Row at their “3rd Annual Thanksgiving Dinner.”  The small non-profit with support from volunteers will come together to make the holiday a little brighter for people experiencing homelessness this Thanksgiving Eve with good food, a caring heart and a friendly smile.   The event will be held at SkidRow Community Refresh Spot, 544 Towne Ave, Los Angeles, Ca. 90013, on November 23, 2022, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
With a mission to serve marginalized communities who’ve experienced homelessness, Measure of Hearts is working to reduce recidivism in South Los Angeles by providing interim housing and supportive solutions that will lead the way to a path of self-sufficiency.
“We are a small but mighty organization, and we understand that Thanksgiving is a time for families to come together and share their abundance.  Unfortunately, we have people who are living on the streets that won’t be in a cozy home celebrating the holiday,” said Aristela Roberson, founder of Measure of Hearts.  She continued “Not only are their individuals, but there are entire families on the streets of LA, and I want to do something to make their lives a little brighter even if it is just for one day.  I know a good meal and a warm smile lets people know someone cares and that can make a world of difference for a person on the streets.”
Who:  Measure of Hearts, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides safe, drug free, affordable transitional shared housing to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
